Limits

2anki.net is a free service that is available to everyone. To ensure that the service is available to everyone, there are some limits in place.

Free users

  • There is a 100mb limit on JSON payloads between the server and client.
  • You can only upload a maximum of 21 files at a time.
  • The default maximum file size is 100 megabytes (MB).
  • Maximum of 100 pages per PDF file.

Paying users

For paying subscribers

  • There is artifical file limit of 2100 files per upload.
  • The maximum file size is 9.77 gigabytes (GB).
  • No limits on number of flashcards.
  • Process PDFs with over 1000 pages.
  • Access to Vertex AI for automated question generation from PDFs
